SaloneSatellite 2026
Since 1998, SaloneSatellite has been the most watched stage in the world for design under 35. Founded and still curated by Marva Griffin Wilshire within Salone del Mobile.Milano, it is less a trade fair than a rite of passage: the place where prototypes become production, where a hand-built object meets the eye of a gallerist, a publisher, a manufacturer from the other side of the planet. Nearly thirty years in, the Satellite remains what it was meant to be, a greenhouse for the ideas that will shape the way we live next.
The 27th edition returns to Fiera Milano Rho from 21 to 26 April 2026, gathering more than 700 young designers and 23 international design schools across Pavilions 5 and 7. This year, Marva Griffin has chosen a theme that feels especially close to the way we work: Skilled Craftsmanship + Innovation. A quiet manifesto, really — a reminder that the gesture of the hand and the intelligence of new tools are not opposites, but the two wings of the same bird. It is exactly the territory we live in every day, somewhere between the workbench and the machine, between memory and experiment.
We are honoured to be among the selected studios, and we can't wait to share what we have been preparing, pieces born from long hours, patient iteration, and a stubborn love for light and matter.
