About us

The idea of artetica was born in July 2022, in Milan, from the need to bring together Design, Architecture and Fashion.
Giorgia Conte, fashion designer, and Sergio Di Pilato, architect, choose to merge their experiences, contaminating each other.

The name artetica means, in Apulian dialect, that restless and frenetic sense of always wanting to do, and is the union between:

art: Design, Fashion and Architecture;
ethics: conscience in research and design, from product to craftsmanship to packaging;
aesthetics: research and care for a coordinated image in which formal cleanliness and purity of colour emerge.

artetica physically opens its space in April 2023, during Milan Design Week.

Right from the start, primary colours and clean shapes become the recognisable features of artetica, present in the different fields they explore. The duo chooses to design consciously, and to tell their own taste also through the vintage and second hand research of objects and clothing, available in the concept store.

Flexibility is the starting point of many artetica projects.

Giorgia and Sergio experience the concept of flexibility as a challenge in design, as a way of thinking more and more sustainably. They are constantly looking for new ways to create products that last and adapt to the needs of people and the places where they live.

Another characterising element within artetica's design is the uniqueness of the individual, who is called upon to be the protagonist and interact with the design.

Giorgia Conte and Sergio Di Pilato combine the creation of products and their expressiveness in completely unexpected, but always creative and coherent ways.
