SICART was born in 1969 after SICA was dissolved, giving rise to two new separate companies: CAI, founded by Stefano Guzzo, and SICART, created by Angelo Perin. Pino Spagnolo maintained his connection with the latter, directing production in a distinctive and innovative way, with a specific focus on functional research.
