Insider Brand:
The "S. I. C." (Scuola Italiana Ceramiche) majolica factory began its operations in Casale Monferrato in the early years after World War II. In 1952, the factory began a partnership with the young Nino Caruso, who was in town to do his military service. This partnership helped bring new ideas and talent to the company.
In the 1960s, among the firm's notable external collaborators was modeler and shaper Pietro Lazzeri, whose contributions further enriched S. I. C. Maioliche's artistic repertoire. His mastery in shaping and forming ceramics helped solidify the factory's reputation as an important center for the production of high-quality artistic majolica.
