Olaf von Bohr is a designer originally from Salzburg, Austria. His career began in 1949 when he started working in woodworking and attended the Blocherer furniture school in Munich. In 1954 he moved to Milan and became part of the Ponti Fornaroli Rosselli studio. Later, he worked at La Rinascente Development Office and joined Kartell, a well-known design company. In 1960 he opened his own design studio and began making pieces independently. Olaf von Bohr had an innate curiosity for production processes, both traditional craft and industrial, and closely followed every stage of preparation and production by working closely with engineers, technicians, and workers.
Some of his best-known works include designing pieces for Valenti, such as Daphne, Lighthouse, Medusa, Heron and Shell. He has had a significant career, with awards such as the Compasso d'Oro and numerous collaborations with companies in the field of design. Olaf von Bohr has also taught modeling and design at various institutions and contributed to innovation in industrial design.
Fastening:
The cabinet can be fastened to the wall with four screws, at the appropriate internal slots.
