Insider Brand:
The company "LPB" was founded in 1956 in Schiavon, in the province of Vicenza, by three partners, Lini, Marco Pizzato and Giovanni Bertoncello. Later, the company name was changed to "Bertoncello Ceramiche d'Arte," and the management remained exclusively in the hands of Giovanni Bertoncello. Thanks to his artistic and entrepreneurial skills, the company achieved considerable success both in Italy and abroad. By the 1970s, the manufacture employed more than 30 people.
The company's modern production consisted mainly of ceramics with organic shapes, decorated with glazes that were often monochrome in shades of ochre and beige, or with color drippings. Among the manufactory's employees in the 1970s should be mentioned Roberto Rigon.
